CTA’s Parliamentarian for Australia to attend HH the Dalai Lama's birthday events in New Castle, Sydney & Brisbane

The parliament member of the Central Tibetan Administration representing Australiasia to the 17th House of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, Mr. Tenzin P. Doring is to visit New Castle to attend the Archery event as invited as guest of honour by the Tibetan Community of New Castle on 5th July. The parliamentarian will fly from Brisbane on 4th July and will reach on the same noon. He will be joined by the Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Mr. Karma Sangay, his official Mr. Lhawang Gyalpo, President of Australia Tibetan Community, Mr. Kalsang Tsering in the presence of General Secretary of Tibetan Australian Community, Mr  Gurbum Gyal, who is also the president of the New Castle Tibetan Community.

Mr. Doring will also visit and attend the His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s birthday celebration event in Sydney as invited by the Tibetan Community of New South Wales, aka Tibetan Community of Sydney on 6th July. He will return to Brisbane on 7th July. The parliamentarian was also graciously invited by the Nowra Tibetan Community on His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s birthday event which coincides the Tibetan Community of Sydney. The Nowra Tibetan Community becomes first amongst other Tibetan communities in offering invitation to the Tibetan parliamentarian. However, owing to matters of urgency and other engagements in Sydney following an urgent meeting on May 28 in Canberra, Doring had to cancel the proposed visit to Nowra. The Nowra Tibetan Community President had been informed with due apology, and was duly accepted by Topgyal Tsering who heads the community. The parliamentarian promised to prioritize to attend any future event invitation by the Nowra Tibetan Community.  On 10th July, Doring will present for HH Dalai Lama's birthday event in Bribsane as invited by the Tibetan Community of Queensland.

Sydney shares the largest number of Tibetans concentration in Australia follow by Melbourne. Other states, territories or cities with Tibetan communities includes Adelaide (South Australia), Perth (Western Australia) and Hobart (Tasmania). The MP wishes to visit other Tibetan communities in Australaia. The electorate of Australiasia covers Tibetans in Taiwan, part of Russia, Japan, New Zealand and other east Asian countries.
